Pacific Press® announces the appointment of Robert Hastings as the new vice president for finance. Hastings comes to Pacific Press® from the Arizona Conference where he has served as treasurer for almost five years. He graduated from Walla Walla University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and from Andrews University with a Master of Science degree in Business Administration in 2007. Hastings replaces Martin Ytreberg who is currently serving in that position.
Tom Evans, treasurer of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America states, "Robert Hastings has a number of years of experience in Treasury work in the North Pacific Union Office as well as the Arizona Conference. His skill and attention to operations details should be a great asset as he joins Pacific Press®."
Hastings will begin the transition process in January, 2016. His official title will be chief financial officer, vice president for finance, and corporate secretary treasurer. Dale Galusha, president of Pacific Press®, says "We are pleased Robert has accepted this position and look forward to having him join our team."
